Fishing Report: December, 2015

The Lake has finally flipped up in the heads of the creeks. And it’s about time. At this time the fish are in the heads of the creeks anywhere from 20 to 60 foot of water. Umbrellas are effective. However live bait is doing a much better job even shiners are more effective than the umbrellas. You can catch them with the umbrellas pulling 2 1/2 to 3 mile an hour 80 to 140 feet behind the boat. The down rods appear to be the most effective when using live bait at approximately 25 to 40 feet down on a 3 ounce weight. As always, feel free to call me or email me at 270-566-0625.
