February Fishing Report 2016

January has come and gone and the severe snowstorm which has devastated almost every marina on the Lake, leaving 11 to 12 inches of snow in the area has melted. Fishing remains good. However, with the snow melt the heads of the creeks are turning quite cold causing the fish to move towards the mouths of the creeks where the water is a little bit warmer. The fish are still quite deep the end of January. We were able to get our limit from 40 to 60 feet with live shad. This is why those that are using downrigger’s are still being productive.
